Don and his team are trying to pitch an ad campaign for Bethlehem Steel but the owner isn't too pleased.  Later Pete pitches his own idea to the man which causes Don to fire him.  Don is overruled by the boss and Pete stays on but they make it look as though Don went to bat for him.  Pete, meanwhile, is under stress from his new wife at home to buy an apartment.
