Vash sees someone named Legato Bluesummers who warns him of his eminent death.  Later Vash is blamed for the death of one of the townsfolk.  A man named Monev the Gale, who was hired by Legato, shows up to take Vash out.  With Vash trying to escape, Legato kills several of the people in town.  This doesn't sit well with Vash at all.  Vash, eyes glowing blue in his rage, takes Monev out.
