Milly, looking for some groceries in a caravan town runs into Wolfwood.  When he wins some money he buys her the food she wants but they also run into an escaping dancer girl.  They help her out.  Meanwhile Vash is hired by the head of the town to take care of her and his son who is helping.  When the caravan posse arrives on the scene it looks bad for Wolfwood and Milly.  Then Vash shows up with Meryl and lets everyone know that he's been hired to kill.
