A gang of men take the daughter of a wealthy man hostage.  It just so happens that Milly and Meryl as in the bar as well.  The mayor get the sheriff to help save his daughter because he doesn't want to be seen as weak by giving in to the ransom.  The sheriff hires some mercenaries to do the job but things don't go all that smoothly when Vash stumbles into the bar.
