Shiki, watched over by his sister, finally makes a recovery.  He tries to get information but fails.  When Akiha and Kohaku leaves for the day, Hisui tells him that he should look around for clues about he and his family.  Shiki discovers a basement cell with writing on the walls in blood.  He runs outside and remembers about another boy his age also named Shiki.  He remembers that he killed the other boy.  When Akiha learns that Shiki has remembers these things she get mad at Hisui for allowing it to happen.
