Shiki comes home and Akiha collapses.  The maids put her in bed and refuse to call for a doctor.  The next day after school he runs in to see how his sister is and witnesses her sucking Kohaku's blood.  That night Arcueid tells him that Roa reincarnates in the people from prominent families with inhuman traits and Shiki thinks that his sister may be Roa.  Shiki learns that there is more to his sister after following her but, when he tells Arcueid, she denies that Akiha is Roa.  Walking back home that night, Shiki is attacked by a man who can apparently see the red lines just as he can.  Shiki is cut by the man but Ciel shows up and stabs him through the chest.  Just then Akiha shows up to find her bleeding brother.
