Ginji washes ashore after having escaped from the ship and is reunited with Ban.  They also run into Shido and Emishi and discover that they are not after the same thing that they are after all.  They are after the Venus replica that is made out of a hardened drug called Aphrodite.  They decide to team up and are found by the search party from the ship.  Shido and Emishi face Shakuryuu and Hyora, the Chinese guards.  Ban and Ginji split up and Ban meets Akabane while Ginji must fight Miroku Yukihiko.
