The group finally make it to Makubex chamber.  Ginji tries talking with him but to no avail.  Makubex turns the chamber into what appears to be inside a body and they fight.  Ban holds the others at bay telling them that Ginji can also manipulate the VR world of the Limitless Fortress but on a subconscious level.
