As Ginji rides in the truck he learns some about his captors.  Himiko - Lady Poison - used to know Ban and there is something in the past that has caused her to hate him.  She tells Ginji that Ban will abandon him but he refuses to believe that.  Ban eventually does show up and he uses his Jagan to save Ginji and get the box.
