A girl named Natsumi who loves cats cuts through an alleyway for a short cut.  She sees a cat and takes a picture not realizing that there is a cop taking money from the Yakuza there as well.  The cop grabs her but she gets away leaving the cop with a small stuffed cat that was attached to her book bag.  She asks the GetBackers - Ginji and Ban - to help recover the item and they reluctantly agree, since there is little hope of getting paid for their services.  The cop thinks he's being tracked even though all they want is the cat.  Once they find the cat, they get notice that the cop has Natusmi.  They meet at a warehouse and Ginji and Ban use their special talents to free the girl.
