Kantarou responds to a military man's request that he look into the sudden appearance of a ship in the forest.  There is a creature calling itself the Demon Eater killing men.  They discover that the same woman that had attacked them earlier is there and that a man dressed in military garb named Raiko is the reason behind their being there.  Raiko wants to fight Haruka but is upset that he is not at his full strength.  After a brief battle, Raiko leaves along with the ship.
