When Kantarou and Haruka eat a treat that Yoko had saved for herself, she gets mad and runs off.  She goes to see Muu-chan and the Lord of the Mountain who tells her she must be bound to the man who named her but she wants to break that tradition.  She leaves there and stays with Suzu for a while but gets bored.  She heads into town and gets a waitress job when a man shows up offering her more money.  Kantarou, getting a little worried by now, goes to find her with Haruka.  They see her heading off with the mysterious man and follow.  The man traps Yoko in a cage and then begins a performance where he shows off the monsters to paying customers.  Yoko is next and he tries to make her turn into a fox.  Kantarou stops it before it goes too far, finding out in the process that the man himself is a monster.
