Kantarou is asked by his editor to write a series of articles on the paranormal for which he gets Yoko to do the work.  He's then contacted by a politician's aid to find the man's daughter for which he'll be paid ten times his normal fee.  He tells him he does the work because it's right and not for the money.  In the meantime, he makes Haruka mad by telling him he's a mere servant.  Kantarou tracks the girl down and sets off to free her.  Yoko asks him if he's taking Haruka but he says he knows he'll show up because he trusts him.  Haruka overhears this and sets off to help.  Haruka defeats the evil servant while Kantarou frees the people and they both set free the demon that was inhabiting some spiders.  Afterward, they both have a better understanding of each other.  Kantarou get paid at his regular fee since the politician, hearing his statement, didn't want to offend him by giving him too much money.
