Roy has disabled Eunomia and Ashley reveals to him why he's done these things.  A long time ago he left his love aboard the ship above the planet.  He'd promised to came back no matter what.  After they lost contact with the ship and the Aurora Shell went into place he had to work in secret to build a ship that could withstand the exit into space.  Solty and Rose show up and Ashley captures them and tries to make Roy decide which one to keep alive.  Ashley is finally defeated and Solty talks to Eunomia and shuts her down.  Josef begins to take control of RUC and the process of rebuilding things.  Solty learns from Eunomia that Helen, the computer aboard the generation ship in orbit, has decided to crash the ship into the city.
