With the RUC watchmen down, more forces are on the move and about to enter the building.  Roy and the rest make it into the underground and escape with Josef and the still dead Solty.  Josef tells the group about the people's past on this planet and about the true nature of the Aurora Shell.  They reach a hidden area in the underground city that is capable to fixing Solty.  At the same time, Ashley tells Rose about the computer that runs the city and how it has been given the authority to do whatever necessary to ensure that humanity survives, even if it means some sacrifices.  His plan is to stop the computer and Rose is to help him do so.
