While deciding what to do with the plan to retake territory and restore supply lines, Dusanyu determines that the Aptic gate will be the battle line.  He appoints Admiral Bebaus the job of defending it.  This causes some concern since their family is known for having some unstable members among some brilliant ones.  Jinto, meanwhile is talking with Ekuryua and Samson when he leaves.  Ekuryua takes this time to let Jinto know her feelings for him.  Flustered, Jinto falls into her just as Lafiel comes around the corner.  Jinto, seeing that Lafiel has gotten the wrong idea, leaves a dejected Ekuryua and heads after her.  Later, Atosuryua invites Jinto to a party in remembrance of her brother and asks him to invite Lafiel also.
