Jubei, having told Mikage that she will never again become Jubei, heads into town for a shopping spree with Mikage, Freesia and her father.  In town, Freesia is captured by the Siberian Yagyu clan in order to hold her as a hostage.  Jiyu goes to rescue her and everyone wonders why she won't transform into Jubei.  When she finally gets to Freesia, her bonds are accidentally cut and she falls into the moat.  Not knowing what to do, she calls upon Ayunosuke as she jumps after Fressia.
