Naota's been "volunteered" to be the cat in a school play with Ninamori as the main character.  When Ninamori has to spend the night with Naota because of bad weather, they seem to hit it off fairly well - confiding in each other. The next day Naota still doesn't want to be the cat and tempers flare in front of the rest of the school kids.  Somehow Naota's fuzzy ears that are growing out of his head are transferred to Ninamori and a creature grows out of her head.  Naota and Haruko have to team up to stop it.
