College has started and Buffy has to adjust to a new life on campus with a new roomate.  She's feeling down when she meets a gang of vampires.  The leader beats her badly and hurts her arm and they later take all of her stuff from her dorm.  When she finds their hideout, Xander goes back for the gang while Buffy, unexpectedly must face the vampires on her own.  The gang show up at the last moment.
