Buffy is infected by some demons that she fought and inherits their telepathic abilities.  At first this seems like a good thing when she is able to do better in class.  Later she hears someone thinking about they are going to kill everyone.  Eventually Buffy cannot handle all of the thoughts but Angel is able to get the heart of the second demon which will cure Buffy.  Once cured, they look for the person responsible for the murderous thoughts.

Note: Aired later in the year so that the contents of the show would not be insensitive to the Columbine shooting victims.
