   President Ford Pardons Tokyo Rose
During World War II a Japanese-American woman named Iva Toguri broadcast anti-ally propaganda at the direction of the Japanese government on the radio in order to reduce US troop morale.  Although these types of brodcasters were commonly all known as "Tokyo Rose", Iva Toguri became the person most identified by that title.  President Ford granted her a pardon just before he left office. Toguri died in 2006.

Jimmy Carter (1/20/1977-1/20/1981)
James Callaghan (4/5/1976-5/4/1979)
