This stamp was issued with the overprint due to budgetary issues and to New Jersey's insistence that they be honored for their part in the war.  Supposedly Molly was married to a soldier in the battle and performed great deeds that day, including bringing water to the soldiers in a pitcher.  She also supposedly manned a cannon after her hisband was wounded.
