The purebloods have decided to use Suzaku in order to bring him to trial for the murder of Prince Clovis.  When Lelouch learns of this he begins to make plans to rescue his friend.  He also meets with members of the rebels and tells them that he will perform an impossible feat to show them what he is capable of.  Kallen, Kaname and some of the other resistance fighters help him as he unveils his new secret identity known as Zero.  He tells them that Suzaku is innocent since he is the one that killed Prince Clovis.  He is able to use his Geass on Jeremiah Gottwald  in order to get Suzaku to safety.
