Mike has been assigned to rescue an ambassador who has been kidnapped.  He is thinking that it is simply a matter of exchanging money for her safety.  When a flying drone makes off with the cash, Mike get a phone call that leads him on several errands that he must complete to keep the ambassador alive.  They work out that the elements he's collecting can be used to make a Hafnium bomb.  Mike is able to free the ambassador while Carrie and the FBI begin their infiltration of the kidnapper's compound.  Mike is captured and they load the bomb into KITT's trunk.  He is told that he must drive at 100 mph or the bomb will explode.  He takes off while Carrie and her squad enter the compound.  Unfortunately the compound has been rigged to explode.
