Meryl and Milly arrive in a town that has almost no water.  They find a mansion where the strange blonde haired man works as a body guard.  They assume that he is posing as Vash since his bungling couldn't possible mean that he is actually Vash.  The owner of the mansion controls all of the water supplies nearby and has made a fortune off of selling the water.  A woman staying there named Marianne is who is supposed to be protected by Vash.  As things unfold, it turns out that neither the old man or Marianne are who they appear.
