Ginko comes across a lute player named Amane and he is intrigued to hear her sing about Mushi.  He learns later about how she was blind and a mushi gave her sight.  She also tells him of how it became a curse when she began to see into people's futures and pasts.  She asks him to bury her eyes in the mountains when the time came so that the curse would not be repeated on someone else.
