Ginko arrives at a hidden library full of mushi chronicles.  He goes there periodically in order to talk with Tan'yu, the scribe, who writes down his stories.  She was born with a birthmark which is in fact a deadly mushi.  She must write the chronicles in order to get rid of it and put it in the writings.
