Ginko has stopped to sell some of his findings to Adashino-sensei.  He tells the man of his travels through the mountains and of a mysterious swamp that appeared to move with him as he went.  He also tells of a girl he met that seemed to be traveling with the swamp.  He asks for help in saving her since the swamp was making for the sea and she would drown when it gets there.  The villagers all pitch in to help find the girl and save her.
