Shiki finds out from Arcueid that their real enemy is still around and that Nero was just an assassin.  Shiki agrees to meet with Arcueid at 9:00 each night to help hunt vampires.  Shiki sneaks out with Hisui help.  Arcueid explains to Shiki that she is searching for a vampire named Roa.  He can reincarnate and she doesn't know for sure what he looks like.  That night they are met by some of Roa minions and Arcueid kills them.  She tells Shiki that if they kill enough of them, they will draw Roa out.  At school the next day Shiki is asked by Ciel to have some tea with her.  She tells him to be careful around Arcueid.  Shiki doesn't fully understand the warning and goes to dinner with Arcueid later.  When they run from the store after she tries to pay in counterfeit money, Arcueid sees a scratch on his arm that is bleeding and runs off.
