With the arrival of so many more Gunmen, Kamina and Simon head up a plan to take over the Dai-Ganzan.  They use the newcomers as decoys while Simon combines with the fortress in order to take it over.  Simon is distracted by the thoughts of Kamina and Yoko and can't get a good connection.  When he sees Kamina fall he goes crazy and starts to head toward a live volcano.  When Kamina shows back up alive, they team up to finish the job.  The strain of the battle is too much for one of them, however.
