A few months before Mission 2, four cadets have just finished their training and are travelling to the Watcher's Nest.  Misaki, Kiri, Luxandra and Suzanna prepare for their trip to Watcher's Nest through the wormhole.  During the transition a Ghoul merges with the ship.  While most of the crew remain unconscious, Misaki awakens to see the creature and she reacts to it by transforming into a creature similar to it.  She struggles with it until the Watcher's Nest is able to get rid of it.  Lyar shows up and finds her naked in her chair.  She tells Misaki that what she saw is top secret.
