Jaye Tyler works in a souvenir shop at Niagara Falls.  When an irate customer demands a refund for a purchase, a wax lion tells her not to do.  She does anyway and the woman's purse is snatched.  She faints and goes to the hospital where her family is convinced she's just had a "sode" and she'll be alright.  The wax lion later gets her to get a quarter from a fountain which leads her to the missing purse - empty of course.  She attempts to return it to the lady but ends up in a fight with her.  Afterwards she meet a bartender named Eric who has decided to stay at Niagara Falls after honeymooning with his wife and finding her with the bellboy at the hotel.  She also sets up her sister Sharon with a delivery man who has just been divorced.  She discovers that her sister doesn't particularly like men and when the delivery man has to be rushed to the hospital due to a peanut reaction, Sharon sees his ex and falls for her.  Meanwhile, the deliveryman falls for the nurse taking care of him.
