Ranmaru awakens in the hospital after his attack by the creature at the crime lab.  He checks himself out as his injuries have mysteriously healed.  Back at work he is visited by Yukino who fills him in a little on the work that they are doing there in the lab.  A goes back to the lab and talks to her father but he's eventually dismissed.  He snoops around and discovers that Yukino's father is in fact a monster himself, having changed from the devil arm he's been working on.
