Masane is injured during the fight with Shiori but is rescued at the last minute.  Shiori goes berserk but is calmed and taken to a hospital.  Masane, being chased by the NSWF, is taken aboard a small ship with Takayama in order to recover.  Tozawa is now even more intrigued and determines to uncover the truth behind these creatures.  Meanwhile, Shiori is exhibiting some strange behavior during her recovery.
