Ichise, somehow getting power to his limbs, lays into the men that shot down Oonishi.  He makes his way toward Kano and sees many of the Shapes around town.  With the power down all of them are still, their human heads still function somewhat as their bodies grow into the ground.  Ichise confronts Kano and discovers what has become of Ran.
