Karasu is injured and close to death after his battle with Fukurou and then with the masked man.  Haruka gets help from Tobi and Atori - who has lost most of his memories and is now docile.  Yuu doesn't understand Haruka's need to help Karasu but goes along anyway.  They find, with the help of their teacher Yukie, a place where layze are located so that he can absorb and mend himself.  Later, the recovering Karasu realizes that Yuu is jealous of him and Haruka and helps him to realize his feelings for her.  Atori and Tobi move into Haruka's house under the guise of environmentalist students.
