Maria has discovered that there is a point in the past, in 1964, where Andrea died but Sarah is now the one who died.  Now with Maria gone and her father the only one that remembers her, things look bad.  Especially with the asteroid heading toward Earth and Sarah Jane being the only one who can stop it.
