Lady Coda, one of the mages living in orbit, sets a meeting with Colonel Dewey and the Ageha Squad.  He tells her that he plans on eradicating the scub coral so that humans can live there in peace.  Meanwhile, the Nirvash is still being fitted with armor.  Dr Eagan, an eccentric scientist and one time husband to Mischa, shows up to offer his take on the Nirvash and Eureka.  He thinks that Eureka is a message to humans but that she's was originally like a blank piece of paper on which her interactions with humans will be written.  The Ageha Squad launch missiles into the planet which causes a huge Coralian with all sorts of creatures that attack a nearby town.  The Gekko takes off with some of the scientists from Tressoir Research Center to finish their work on board.
