Saya is a high school girl who lives with her adoptive father George and two adopted brothers named Kai and Riku in Okinawa.  She has no memory of things more than a year ago.  She is a good high jumper and her best friend is Kaori.  She leaves her running shoes at school and goes back to get them.  Once there she witnesses a teacher killed by a creature and runs into the school.  A mysterious cello player that she say on the street earlier in the day shows up to help her with the creature.
