Season 1 Episode 2
Episode 2 of 59
Matt Parkman is an LA police officer who has failed to advance in eight years.  He is working at a murder scene when he begins to hear a little girl.  He follows the voice to a cubby under the stairs where he finds her.  This raises some questions about his involvement in the case, however, since no one else could hear the little girl even though they were right there.  Claire, after having attempted to burn herself in a train wreck and in the process rescuing a man, finds that her feat has gained some recognition.  Peter, who is recovering in a hospital from a fall from the roof, still believes that he can fly and that his brother flew to save him earlier.  Hiro has learned that he can move himself in space as well as time and winds up in New York City.  He discovers a comic book called "9th Wonder" which has him as the main character.  He follows the address of the artist to Isaac - but it is apparently too late to find out anything since he's been killed and the top of his head was sliced off.  Meanwhile Niki, who is in trouble with the mob, wakens to find two dead men in her garage.  She begins to see even stranger things in the mirror and starts to have black out moments.  Things get even stranger when she returns home ready to run away with her child to find that the garage is clean and a car has been left to her in her name.
