Kirchner arrives in his sister's cell but armed men come in and try to isolate him.  He goes mad and starts to destroy things on his way to the control room.  Meanwhile, Helga and Chitto wonder around the ship.  Tohma and company arrive and go on board to find Helga.  Seeing the discharge of Orsel, some of the children arrive at the control room to find Kirchner there.  Agi tries to calm him down.  He tells him that he's already dead but since he won't accept it - and the fact that he's been to the Zone and come back - his soul is unbalanced.  He cannot enter the Zone like that and the Enma will arrive to wipe out his soul if he doesn't accept his death.  It appears that his warnings do no good as the Enma wrap him in a cacoon and he disappears.  Tohma and Tarlant find Helga and everyone meets up together.
