The United States attempts to stop the British Library from completing it's plans.  They are decimated, however, by novels come to life - pteranodon and "War of the Worlds" tripods.  The paper sisters and Yomiko's group decide to use the few days before the plan is to go into effect to read as much as they can about London to discover any kind of clues about the British Library's weaknesses.  When they begin their rescue mission, Drake and Nancy head off to save Junior and the paper sisters attempt to rescue Nenene.  Yomiko, instead of rescuing Nenene, heads off to put a stop to Joker.
