As the Red Dwarf nears a white hole, Kryten is able to boost Holly's IQ to over 12,000.  Unfortunately this gives her less than 4 minutes to live.  Instead of spending her time arguing with a toaster, she shuts off.  This causes a lot of problems with the crew, especially now that the time distortions from the white dwarf are beginning to have an effect.
