Marlene and Yuji are crossing the desert on their way to Baikonur space port.  They find water at a compound  and also meet a man named Dice when a Blue attacks.  Marlene orders Dice to help her and Yuji get to Baikonur but he just wants to get back to his bunker.  When the Blue attacks once again he knocks Marlene out and takes her, Yuji and himself to safety.  In the morning they awake to find that Marlene has taken the ? back to the compound to look for transportation.  Yuji and Dice head to to find her before the Blue do.
