Kyoichi has gone to the island of Hokkaido in order to relax and sketch some landscapes.  When he misses his bus and runs into a blonde haired girl, they end up driving around together on her motorcycle.  After seeing lots of scenery and being teased quite a bit by the girl, he finally discovers her name.  After she tells him that his sketches lack feeling, he discovers something about himself.  He returns home and sees Chiharu on the road.  He tells her he's home and she welcomes him back.
