Abriel has taken leave and arrives back on Lobnas II with a contingent of mercenaries made up of ex-prison guards and Samson.  Samson begins cooking a meal in expectation that Jinto will need to eat.  It is his planet's tradition to do this.  The princess is able to track down Jinto after finding his headband and he's barely alive.  He tells her that he thought Abriel's never cried and calls her "precious little princess."  Crying, che calls him a fool.  Much later, the Basroil crew say goodbye to their ship and talk about their immediate plans.  Jinto and Lafiel are relaxing with Diaho and Jinto before he heads to his home planet Martine.  Lafiel has taken a long leave from the Star Forces in order to accompany him.
