Angusson's pride keeps him from releasing Jinto.  Dokufu wants to back down after hearing about the Abh Hell.  Dokufu pushes Angusson too far and is shot.  Admiral Spoor shows up in the vicinity ahead of the enemy and is surprised to find Lafiel still in the area.  Admiral Spoor is surprised when lafiel requests protection in order to get the rest of the people on board the transports.  Admiral Spoor eventaully agrees to what she thinks is a useless cause.
