The Basroil has moved into position near the sord and as they wait, Jinto and Lafiel talk about some of their memories together.  Jinto and Lafiel both admit to being scared of what is in store for them.  They talk about their futures and Lafiel says she means to live through all three life stages - pilot, merchant and parent.  During their conversation the enemy fleet arrives.  The fleet send out their mines into the sord.  Lafiel seems to remember something about the enemy mines from before as she heads the Basroil toward the enemy ships.
