Kazuki keeps hearing a voice saying "Help Me."  Meanwhile, the girls are looking for a way to get Kazuki some more magic, in their studies they discover a pendant that may have an answer.  When they ask around about it, they discover that a girl that went to the school used to have it but she died from a rare magical virus.  They discover that she died trying to cure a maple tree, a tree with the same name as her older sister who also died.  When they find the pendant they discover that they can't use it after all.
