The TARDIS lands on a planet that has very little atmosphere and the crew are forced to wear breathing equipment in order to explore. They are eventually caught up in a battle between the Zarbi (controlled by the Animus) and the Menoptra. The Menoptra are fighting to free their planet from the Animus and its ever increasing web of control.
